Skin
Care
I've researched and tested and have found two skin
care products I can recommend to you at two different price points. They feature:
- Products for face and body
- No parabens or other potentially harmful ingredients or
preservatives
- Effective and pleasant to use
- Produce great results
- Can be purchased at both retail stores/spas and online
- Organic and/or mostly organic
Burt's Bees is low to moderately priced, and very good value.
Mostly organic
Eminence Organic Skin Care is a totally organic product line with a higher price
point. I
especially like their
Eminence Organic Stone Crop
products.
Eminence Travel Starter Kits
are good if you want to sample the product line.
Products I absolutely love:
The following products are some of my personal favorites. They
may or may not have preservatives, but they work well for my skin type, which is
normal and active.
ColoreScience The BEST sunscreen/foundation with SPF sun block 20, no
preservatives. Gives you a gorgeous glow.
St. Ives Hydroxy Masque
A great masque to purify skin. Fun to use. Cost is under $5.00.
Neutrogena Advanced Solutions Facial Peel
Use when your skin needs a quick pick-me-up. I think this product works as well
as a medical light glycolic peel.
Exuviance Cleansing Gel
A sparkling face wash that contains both alpha-hydroxy and beta hydroxy acids.
Superb for clarifying the skin and useful for all skin types. Costs under $20.00
and lasts forever
Creme de la Mer is a luxurious moisturizer. It's soothing and
healing and fortunately, you only need a small amount to produce great results.
Start with the one-ounce size at $150.00.
A must-have beauty item: The Yoga Face
is a facial exercise book. They work to uplift face, reduce the appearance of
crows feet, marionette lines, lifts eyebrows and plumps up cheeks. I love the
results. You will too.
